want it wishlist #002

t-shirt - topshop
heels - h&m
just dance 2 - ubisoft
ring - rokit
1. I am a t-shirt junkie and this latte coloured number is a winner. The fit is not skinny which I hate and I love the simple touches - the pocket and turned up sleeves. Bit pricey for a tee but it for me it is a must have.

2. I literally fell in love when I saw these heels. There not my usual style but that just makes them the more desirable. Everything about them are just amazing! They are cute, sassy and remind me of summer ♥

3. This has to be the best game on the Wii. I played it at a friend's house last night and now I MUST own this. It has Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" - enough said.

4. There's always going to be a ring in these posts, so no need to go into too much detail ;) but I love the faded gold colour and the expression on the leopard's face :P

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and expect more from me soon :)

share sunday #002

Hey guys :) This week has been so broken up, from exams on monday and tuesday to an 18th on friday and having no work on saturday. It feels like 2 months have gone past - or maybe I'm just going crazy.. and that is certainly a possibility.

ANTM. The show I wouldn't miss even if I was giving birth. They had a photoshoot where they had a word that people used to tease them with when they young and it was written all over their bodies. Then they have an empowering word to do with the same quirk. They had some cracking words but my favourite had to oero because the girl was black on the outside but "white" on the inside. I could definitely identify with her but whoever made up that name for her must be a bully genius - I joke.

silky cardigan - primark (sorry, if you can't really see it)
I had my friends 18th on friday which was fun. It was lovely to catch up with people I hadn't seen in about two years and remember why I was friends with these people in the first place. But I seemed to be the only one who wanted to dance and they refused to play anything I remotely wanted to jam to. I had to literally ask every person if they had what's my name? on their phone/ipod. It took about 20 minutes but when I heard the introduction I don't think I've ever screamed so loud in my life. That really is my song.

Lastly, just a quick insight to my life, I always seem to make awkward situations more awkward. Is this just me or do other people do this? I'll be all fine then that one person you don't want to be there walks in like they own the place and you start to panic. You say to yourself, I'm gonna talk to them and you end up saying something really rude, therefore rising the level of awkwardness between you. The amount of times I have done this would win a "you'd make an awkward turtle cringe" award. Jeez..

Hope you all have a wonderful week

P.S Sorry about the topic hopping...

the topshop ring didn't mean a thing

I was rather bored at sixth form so I went on the topshop website, and I when I say I fell in love about 13 times, I mean it. My favourite has the be the HUGE green one on the right - it's just everything I want in a ring :) Now it's the decision of spending £12.50 on it...

P.S which one do you like best?

a high heel dilemna

Hey guys :) my sister and I had to rush these before it got too dark, so the lighting isn't perfect. I've never worn this outfit combination before but I actually love it.

top - h&m mens
belt - off a pair of old jeans

shorts - DIY
tights - primark

shoes - new look
I bought these shoes back in the summer for a party but I was too ill to even go and I haven't worn them out since :( I just never seem to find the right occasion. They are too high for regular wear, too open for the winter, too dressy for gatherings and too thin for raves. But they are still my favourite pair of heels and I WILL wear them out eventually.
Have a wonderful weekend

share sunday #001

This week has been soo tiring. All I've been doing is revising and it's really doing my head in. I don't like how were in school for three months, then BOOM, they push us into exams. I've just got used to the structure of 6th form and now I'm already stressing out about exams. I also have a terrible physics teacher who I haven't learnt anything from, I had to teach half the topic to myself. The other half is a complete mystery to me and the exam is on wednesday..

But some good has come out of this constant revision, I have found a new love in my life. He's called the library. It may sound nerdy but I actually love it in there. I can focus on my work but they also have the most amazing CD collection. I've taken out about ten this last week, all costing 75p each. Absolute bargain, seeing as one song off iTunes is about that much. I took out Mumford&Sons - Sigh No More and Drake - Thank Me Later and they definitely have to be my favourite albums of the year. I love the realness in their lyrics and how neither compromise their music.

I just looked at my followers and realised I'm following myself.. My cousin must have been messing around with my laptop (it's not me trying to have more followers :p)

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the weekend

"want it" wishlist #001

Hey guys :) sorry about the lack of posts. I've been living at my local library this past week revising for my exams, so bare with me. Here's the first of many "want it" wishlists because I always want stuff.

1. brown blouse - topshop
2. gold spade ring - rokit
3. true white vans - Vans
4. sims 3 - EA games
5. casio gold watch - asos

exams & antm

Another outfit post for you. The pictures are better today because my sister actually knows how to use a camera.

top - mum's wardrobe

leggings - topshop

scarf - vintage

wedges - new look

I got up at 12 and have been rather sluggish all day. I am supposed to be revising for my physics exam but I can't bring myself to even look at my folder. (Yes I was crazy enough to take A level physics) But I'm doing an all day revision session with a friend tomorrow at the library, so hopefully I can cram it all then. Not sure it will be enough though.

America's Next Top Model is on tonight and it's a brand new season - I'm so excited! I don't think it'll top last series with Krista winning but it will entertain me. Krista has got to be one of my favourite winners, she was just so on point - every single week. But I definitely watch the show for Tyra. She is just fierce to the core and she's not too serious. She can have fun and be wild and wacky, rather like myself.

Thank you to anyone who has visited, commented or followed me. You guys make my day :)

Have a good evening everyone

questions & answers

You guys get a double dosage today. The questions are a mash up from ginger ecstasty and classic fashion diary

1. Why did you create this blog?
I was inspired really. I bumped into frassy and I've just been hooked on them ever since.
I have my own "nice but better be comfortable" style and I want to see what other people think of it.
2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
I follow fashion blogs because I like to see what other bloggers are wearing. It's so fun to see someone wear something that I would put together myself and I also pick up fashion inspiration. My favourites are London's Closet, The Flower Girl and Fashion Train - and I love i heart vintage x
3. Favourite makeup brand?
I don't really wear makeup as I am quite low maintainence but I do like Sleek because they do foundation for my skin colour
4. Your indispensable makeup product?
Hmmm, I would say blistex if that counts.
5.Favourite clothing stores?
I love primark and H&M for clothes and new look for shoes. Zara's autumn/winter collection was made for me but I don't really shop there - that is gonna change. I also love my parents wardrobe, vintage and free.
6. What would you describe your style as?
I would say I care more about comfort than anything even though I'll willing wear a pair of heels. My style is kinda like a mix of a young boy with lots of rings on and a headband.
7. Who's your fashion role model? (In real life and YouTube/Blogging)
Ummm, I'm not that sure. I don't dress like my fashion role model so I don't know if it counts. I love Rihanna's style but I think I dress more like Alexa Chung
8. What is your favourite fashion accessory?
RINGS. end of.
9. What could you not live without?
My dad's gold pinkie ring. It's now permanately fixated on the first finger on my left hand
10. Your favourite colour?
Definietly brown. The colour of chocolate, my loafers, and barack obama ;)
11. Your perfume?
I don't wear perfume, it goes back to that low maintainence thing
12. Your favourite film?
Dreamgirls - I know every word, every lyric and every dance move, or Toy story 3
13. What country would you like to visit and why?
I would love to go back to Sierra Leone again, I went there last christmas. It has the most incredible beaches and Africa is just an amazing place.

14. Who's your favourite singer/band?
OMG, this probably has to be the hardest question. I love TLC - they are my number one but I love Janelle Monae, Ellie Goulding, Nicki Minaj, Labrinth and Drake. And Alicia Keys sings my favourite song of all time
15. Write the last question and answer it yourself
My question to myself: Tell us one weird thing about yourself

When I was young, I didn't like the texture of cake so my mum would make me a birthday shortbread - decorated and everything. I love cake now nomnom

Hope you enjoyed my little Q&A and I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have
